Our head office is located at Forschungszentrum Jülich. More than 850 employees work here. They are concerned with coordinating funding programmes for research and innovation in the areas of life sciences, energy, materials technologies as well as programmes for the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Our office in the capital is located in Berlin Mitte (at the centre of the city). More than 500 employees work here. They are concerned with coordinating funding programmes for research and innovation in the areas of environment and sustainability, climate protection initiatives, regional technology platforms, technology transfer and start-up companies, as well as navigation and marine technology.
Our "maritime" office is located in Rostock. With about 40 employees the branch is coordinating funding initiatives and programmes for research and innovation in the areas of marine and polar research, as well as geotechnology, shipping and maritime technology and technology transfer in Mecklenburg-Pomerania.
We also have a branch office in the Federal City of Bonn. Round about 20 employees coordinate the National Contact Point (NCP) Environment on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
